Job Description/Requirements
Koppert Biological Systems (K) Ltd. is a subsidiary of Koppert B.V. Netherlands -the international market leader in the field of natural/biological crop protection. We are seeking to fill the position of sales representative supporting the flower and export-vegetable segment.
Reporting to the commercial manager, the incumbent’s principal responsibilities will include:
- Undertake sales of Koppert products within the designated region and meet set targets.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, finance, logistics, and technical departments.
- Support customers to successfully use and implement Koppert solutions.
- Undertake training of growers on integrated pest and crop management
- Establish, develop, and maintain good business relationships with current and new
- customers in the assigned territory/market segment
- Undertake analysis of the regional market potential to guide decision-making.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and exhibitions.
- Ensure optimal product management by distributors and streamline the supply chain.
- Establish and maintain end-user database for communication purposes.
Required qualifications and skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or Agriculture from a recognized university.
- Additional post-graduate qualifications in business/sales/marketing will be an added
- advantage.
- Minimum 5 years experience in sales and marketing of agriculture inputs (biologicals,
- agrochemicals, fertilizers, seeds, etc.)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including formal presentations and
- computer proficiency.
- Good organizational and negotiation skills; attention to detail, integrity, and self-drive.
- A team player, customer-oriented, able to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Excellent time management and willingness to travel.
- A valid driving license.
