About the role
The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of fuel products, including petroleum, diesel, and lubricants. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the energy sector and a strong network of clients in the industry. Your role will involve identifying business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Retention:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fuel and energy sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, such as industrial companies, transport operators, and commercial entities.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Promote and sell petroleum products, diesel, and lubricants to new and existing customers.
- Highlight the unique benefits of Wellcare’s offerings, such as competitive pricing and reliable supply.
- Negotiate and close contracts to achieve sales targets.
Market Research & Insights:
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in the energy sector.
- Provide feedback to management to improve product offerings and services.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using the company’s CRM tools.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of products.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the energy market.
Qualifications
● Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the energy sector, specifically with companies like Total Kenya, Rubis, or similar entities.
● Strong understanding of petroleum products, diesel, and lubricants, including their applications and market demand.
● Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive environment.
● A bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is an added advantage.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
● Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
● A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

What We Offer:
Competitive salary within the range of KES 30,000 – 40,000.
