Company brief

Our company is a start-up located in Mtwapa, Mombasa, along the main Mombasa–Malindi Road. We are venturing into the garments manufacturing sector, with a focus on producing quality garments and textile products for the local and regional market.


Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities within retail, wholesale, and institutional segments.

    • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships.

    • Present, promote, and sell products using solid arguments to prospective customers.

    • Prepare and follow up on quotations and sales orders

    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and customer needs.

    • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.

    • Provide feedback on customer needs, problems, interests and market trends.

    • Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and promotional events.


Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in sales within the garments or textile industry

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

    • Strong customer service orientation

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic sales reporting

    • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is an added advantage
