Job Description/Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of energy solutions including power systems, or energy efficiency products and a proven ability to drive sales through technical consultation, relationship building, and strategic engagement with clients.
Key Responsibilities.
· Develop and manage a portfolio of clients
· Understand and articulate technical features, advantages, and benefits of the company's energy solutions (e.g., Generators, lighting Towers, Load Banks, solar and Compressors).
· Conduct detailed needs analysis and site assessments to determine client requirements.
· Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations to customers.
· Collaborate with engineering, product development, and project teams to design and customize solutions.
· Manage and track the full sales cycle: lead generation, client engagement, negotiations, closing deals, and after-sales service.
· Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to generate leads and build professional networks.
· Stay informed of industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments.
· Provide feedback from clients to internal teams to support continuous product and service improvement.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy) or related technical discipline.
· 3–5 years of sales experience in the energy sector or a technical sales environment.
· Strong technical knowledge of energy systems (renewables, power electronics, batteries, HVAC, etc.).
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Ability to understand complex technical systems and explain them in simple terms to clients.
· Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Willingness to travel regionally or nationally, depending on client needs.
· Experience with renewable energy projects, energy audits, or grid-tied/off-grid systems.
Knowledge of energy regulations, incentives, and processes.
