Job Title: Telesales Executive (Solar Products)

Department: Sales

Reporting to: Managing Director

Location: Upper Hill, Nairobi

Type of Employment: Full-time. Working hours from 8am-5pm with one hour lunch break, must be willing to travel within and outside the country.

Probation: 6 months

Remuneration: Gross salary of Ksh 20,000 - 25,000 (maximum) + NHIF + NSSF.

Terms: There are no commissions and targets however there will be salary reviews after a work period of 6 months.

Our client is one of the leading manufacturing companies in the renewable industry that specializes in the manufacturing, design and distribution of (solar) off grid electric products.

As a B2B company, the stated goal is to be the best product supplier in distributed power generation and usage for homes, shops, and offces in un- or under-electrifed areas all over the world.

Role Summary

1. We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated B2B Sales Executive with experience in relationship management to work across different markets. The role involves working with our solar product distributors and generating new business opportunities in the African market.

2. As a B2B Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining relationships with distributors, and identifying new business opportunities.

3. Our sales personnel need to always keep abreast with all our local distributors by ensuring we provide them the best quality solar products, design variety solutions in accordance to their specifc market needs, generate leads, which transform to sales.

Key Responsibilities

● Developing and implementing sales strategies to acquire and retain customers.

● Building and maintaining relationships with distributors.

● Identifying and developing new business opportunities with potential customers.

● Developing and delivering sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

● Conducting market research and staying up-to-date on industry trends.

● Creating and maintaining accurate sales reports and forecasts.

● Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

● Traveling frequently to meet with distributors and attend trade shows.


Candidate Requirements:

● Must have a Bachelor’s Degree.

● Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B or B2C sales.

● Must be aged between 20 to 30 years old.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Must be profcient in Microsoft Offce suite.

● Strong relationship management skills across different African countries.

● Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales strategies.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

● Willingness to travel frequently.

● Fluent in English, and profciency in any African languages is a plus.

● Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
