Our client is a mega dealer, distributor, and reseller of automotive parts in Kenya with branches country-wide. They are seeking an experienced and strategic Branch Operations Manager to drive the commercial success of their automotive business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies, optimizing sales performance, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role demands a proactive leader who can enhance revenue growth, market positioning, and operational efficiency across all branches.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive sales, market expansion, and business growth across all branches.
Oversee sales performance, identify opportunities for revenue optimization, and ensure targets are met.
Monitor and support branch managers to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and sales targets.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and new business opportunities.
Foster strong relationships with key clients, dealers, suppliers, and partners to enhance brand positioning and customer retention.
Identify and pursue new revenue streams, strategic partnerships, and fleet management opportunities to expand market share.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure pricing, cost control, and budgeting align with business objectives.
Coordinate with marketing, operations, and aftersales teams to enhance overall business performance.
Ensure all commercial operations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
Provide regular reports and insights to the Managing Director on sales performance, market trends, and business opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Proven experience (5+ years) in a sales or business development role within the automotive industry.
Strong leadership and people management skills to oversee multiple branches effectively.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze financial and market trends.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to driving business growth.
Knowledge of automotive sales, supply chain management
