Our client is a startup hotel located in Juja focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences with a modern approach. We’re building from the ground up and looking for a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team.

- Experience Length : 3 years
Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals following the hotels recipe and standards
- Set up work stations with all needed cooking equipment and ensure they are well maintained
- Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are consistently followed
- Assist the chef in food preparation, and ingredient organisation
- Ensure all foods and produce received are well labelled, date stamped and stored correctly
- Work as part of a team to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering
- a positive and timely response to enquiries and problem solution
Key requirements
- Diploma in Culinary Arts or its equivalent
- At least 2-3 years experience in a previous as a cook or kitchen assistant
- Knowledge of relevant food and health & safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced organisation
- Well organized and neat individual
- Team player with strong work ethics and good communication skills.
- Must be a quick learner
Salary: Kes. 20,000. Availability: Immediately
