DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Baking and Production
  • Assist in the preparation and baking of bread, pastries, cakes, and other bakery products.
  • Follow standardized recipes and production schedules accurately.
  • Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to instructions.
  • Support daily production targets and ensure timely output.

Food Safety and Hygiene
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the baking area and equipment.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of ingredients and finished products.
  • Report any food safety or quality concerns immediately.

Quality Control
  • Ensure all baked products meet company quality standards in taste, appearance, and texture.
  • Assist in checking product freshness and removing expired or damaged items.
  • Maintain consistency in portioning and presentation. Inventory and Stock Management
  • Assist in receiving and organizing baking ingredients and supplies.
  • Monitor ingredient usage and report shortages.
  • Support proper storage of raw materials and finished products.

Equipment Handling
  • Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers under supervision.
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained properly after use.
  • Report any equipment malfunction or maintenance needs.

Customer and Display Support
  • Assist in arranging baked goods for display in an attractive and organized manner.
  • Ensure bakery display areas are well-stocked and appealing.
  • Support customer service when required.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
  • At least 6 months of experience in baking within a commercial kitchen, bakery, or supermarket bakery.
  • Knowledge of basic baking techniques and food safety standards.
  • Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and production schedules accurately.
  • Basic baking and food preparation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good time management and reliability.
