Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the incorporation and formation of companies in Kenya, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

• Prepare and maintain statutory registers, board minutes, resolutions, and filings with the Registrar of Companies.

• Oversee accounting functions for client entities, including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and reconciliation of accounts.

• Administer payroll services, ensuring accurate processing, statutory deductions, and compliance with labor and tax regulations.

• Handle tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax filings, ensuring deadlines are met and accurate records are maintained.

• Provide company secretarial services to clients, ensuring corporate governance compliance and advising on regulatory obligations.

• Liaise with clients on day-to-day queries, ensuring high-quality service and timely resolution of issues.

• Support the preparation and submission of client due diligence/KYC documentation in line with AML/CFT requirements.

• Coordinate with local authorities, tax offices, and other third-party service providers as needed.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in ERP/CRM systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

• Collaborate with colleagues across DTOS offices to ensure seamless delivery of cross-jurisdictional services.


Required Qualifications & Experience

• Certified Company Secretary (CS) qualification is mandatory.

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in corporate services, accounting, or professional services.

• Proven knowledge and experience in accounting, payroll, and tax compliance.

• Strong understanding of Kenyan corporate law, Companies Act, and regulatory environment.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.

• Strong communication skills and client-oriented mindset.

• Proficiency in accounting software, MS Office, and ERP/CRM systems.
