Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Healthcare engagement promotion
- Visit targeted HCPs regularly to promote child nutrition products and provide scientific detailing.
- Educate HCPs on the benefits, usage guidelines, and nutritional content of products.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and pediatric networks.
- Scientific Education and training
- Territory Management
- Conduct and support medical education activities such as CMEs, roundtables, webinars, and in-clinic sessions.
- Ensure scientific claims and communications align with internal and local regulatory guidelines.
- Support product launches with medical training sessions for HCPs.
- Market intelligence and reporting
- Gather insights from HCPs about child nutrition trends, concerns, competitor activity, and product feedback.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports to the Category Manager on territory performance and insights.
- Recommend strategies to improve product positioning based on field learnings.
- Develop and execute a territory action plan with clear coverage targets.
- Ensure visibility of company materials and samples in compliance with medical marketing guidelines.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure aligned messaging and outreach.
- Compliance & Ethics
- Operate in full compliance with WHO Code, local laws, and Company policy on marketing breast milk substitutes (BMS).
Working relationships
Internal Relationships: Sales, Marketing, Supply chain and Finance
External Relationships: Local Authorities, medical associations/bodies
Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications Required
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Nursing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in medical sales or healthcare engagement, preferably in pediatrics or nutrition.
- Strong understanding of child health, nutrition science, and clinical detailing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
