Job Summary
Our client is a leading force in the Maldivian construction industry, seeking to hire an HR Executive to manage and implement human resource functions at the construction site, ensuring effective manpower utilization, compliance with labor regulations, and the maintenance of a positive & safe working environment for all site employees and workers.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities & Tasks
Manpower planning
· Coordinate with the Project Manager to understand manpower requirements.
· Support recruitment, mobilization, and demobilization of site staff and workers.
· Verify credentials, collect necessary documents, and ensure all staff are properly onboarded.
· Maintain up-to-date records of manpower strength and movement.
Attendance & Payroll Coordination
· Manage daily attendance records, overtime, and leave tracking for site employees and laborers.
· Prepare and submit accurate payroll inputs to the Head Office on time.
· Assist in resolving payroll-related queries and ensure timely wage/salary disbursement.
Employee relations & welfare
· Act as the first point of contact for all HR and welfare-related matters on-site.
· Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and professionally.
· Oversee staff accommodation, food, and transportation arrangements.
· Conduct regular welfare checks and ensure compliance with company standards.
HR Administration & Compliance
· Maintain complete and updated personnel files for all site employees and workers.
· Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and site safety regulations.
· Prepare and submit periodic reports on manpower, attendance, and HR activities.
· Coordinate with the HR Office for visa renewals, contract renewals, and other documentation.
Health & Safety Support
· Work closely with the HSE department to promote safety awareness and compliance.
· Support in organizing safety inductions and training programs for workers.
· Ensure all employees are medically fit and covered under required insurance policies.
Coordination & Reporting
· Serve as a communication link between the site and the HR department at Head Office.
· Provide daily/weekly/monthly HR reports as required.
· Assist in any special HR initiatives, audits, or projects at the site level.
Autonomy
· Freedom to carry out professionally the responsibilities and tasks described above.
Required Qualifications, Skills & Key Competencies
· Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field.
· Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience in the construction industry (site-based role preferred).
· Good knowledge of manpower management and payroll coordination.
· Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and HR systems.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle multicultural workforce.
· Strong organizational and reporting skills
· Team-oriented with leadership ability
· Discretion, integrity, and professionalism
· Ability to work under pressure and in remote site conditions
· Must be willing to relocate
