The Human Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the adhesive manufacturing plant. This includes recruitment, employee relations, training, safety compliance, payroll administration, labor law compliance, and acting as the key link between Chinese management and the local workforce.

Job Description/Requirements
1. Recruit, interview, and onboard factory, technical, and support staff.
2. Plan workforce requirements based on production targets and expansion needs.
3. Manage communication and working relationships between Chinese management and local employees.
4. Develop and implement training programs for machine operation, chemical handling, and safety.
5. Enforce occupational health, safety, and environmental standards within the factory.
6. Ensure compliance with all Kenyan labor laws and regulations.
7. Manage payroll processing, overtime, allowances, and employee benefits.
8. Administer performance management systems, appraisals, and staff productivity tracking.
9. Handle employee discipline, misconduct cases, and lawful termination procedures.
10. Manage staff welfare, grievances, and workplace conflict resolution.
11. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
12. Coordinate immigration permits and compliance for Chinese employees.
13. Plan staff shifts, schedules, and leave management.
14. Oversee factory administrative support such as uniforms, PPE, transport, and canteen services.
15. Investigate workplace accidents and coordinate safety reports.
16. Advise management on HR risks, labor trends, and employment best practices.
17. Prepare HR reports for management review.
18. Support factory audits and government labor inspections.
19. Handle crisis situations including strikes, disputes, and emergency workforce issues.
