Salary: 100,000-120,000
Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate and implement comprehensive HR strategies and policies to enable the company attain its strategic goals, provide continuous advice and support of the employees in the interpretation of HR policies and procedures and facilitate revisions.
• Articulate and harmonize HR services and practices, i.e. recruitment, selection, induction, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, employee welfare, health and safety, as well as employee separation.
• Drive a performance culture through implementation and management of a performance management
system to evaluate and improve employee performance.
• Identify training needs, design relevant programs, implement and evaluate these programs to improve skills and performance, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Implement initiatives to enhance employee morale, motivation, productivity, and well-being, and develop and implement employee recognition and reward programs aligned to business goals,
• Develop and implement talent management and succession planning programs.
• Facilitate employee participation and communication through provision of honest and open communication channels within and outside the company.
• Oversee the implementation of disciplinary actions when necessary, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Manage staff wellbeing by facilitating onboarding to company medical scheme, managing the company leave schedules, and driving initiatives geared towards employee physical and mental wellness. Ensure proper definition of roles and reporting relationships to avoid ambiguities
• Manage the employee welfare kitty and provide quarterly updates.
• Manage HR and Administration budgets and resources, and maintaining accurate records & Office supplies.
Requirements:
• University Degree in Business Administration/Management with a major in HR, or a degree in Business Administration/ Social Sciences or any related degree with a Diploma/Post Graduate Diploma in HRM/CHRP.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in a busy HR environment with supervisory responsibility of the HR department with Good knowledge of the Kenya labor laws and employment act.
• Ability to generate reports weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Strong proficiency in the use of IT & Ability to cope with responsibility, flexibility and high pressure.
• Ambitious, confident, energized and proactive; Enthusiastic and mature team player.
• Has planning and organizational capacity.
• Has a strategic perspective & Ability to maintain confidentiality.
