Job Summary

As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support the church’s business goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy development. You will work closely with Finance and Operations Director to foster a strong company culture and ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the recruitment and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent.

    • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with local labor laws and company objectives.

    • Manage performance evaluation systems and support employee development initiatives.

    • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts with discretion and professionalism.

    • Support the leadership team in shaping a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.

    • Maintain accurate HR records, ensure compliance with employment laws, and handle documentation for contracts and benefits.

    • Oversee HR systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance employee experience.

    • Stay updated on HR trends and provide guidance on best practices for remote team management.


Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar senior HR role.

    • Strong understanding of employment regulations in Kenya.

    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

    • Strategic mindset with the ability to manage both people and processes.

    • Proficiency in HR software and systems.
