Job Description/Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
LEGAL & COMPLIANCE
● Draft and issue formal HR communications (lateness notices, disciplinary letters, warnings)
● Ensure compliance with labor laws, contracts, and internal policies
● Maintain accurate records of HR actions and employee files
● Support investigations and grievance procedures with discretion and fairness

TALENT DEVELOPMENT & OPTIMIZATION
● Design and implement performance management systems
● Identify high-potential staff and create growth pathways
● Align roles and responsibilities to maximize payroll ROI
● Facilitate training, onboarding, and continuous learning programs

STRATEGIC HR LEADERSHIP
● Advise directors on workforce planning and organizational structure
● Support cross-functional team formation and role clarity
● Lead HR reporting and analytics for decision-making

MULTI-BRANCH COORDINATION
● Travel periodically to branch locations for staff engagement, audits, and training
● Ensure consistent HR standards and practices across all sites

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
● Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR management, preferably in a multi-site organization
● Strong understanding of Kenyan labor law and disciplinary procedures
● Proven track record in talent development and performance optimization
● High emotional intelligence and a compassionate approach to people management
● Excellent communication, discretion, and leadership skills
