Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Security Manager to lead and manage all aspects of security operations across our Somaliland sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and operations, while developing and implementing security policies aligned with international standards and local regulations.


Key Responsibilities

● Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures across all operational sites in Somaliland.

● Monitor and evaluate risks, threats, and vulnerabilities to personnel, assets, and operations.

● Lead incident response, investigations, and reporting for all security-related events.

● Coordinate and supervise the performance of contracted security personnel.

● Liaise with local law enforcement agencies, government officials, and community leaders to ensure effective security partnerships.

● Provide training and awareness programs for staff on security best practices.

● Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.

● Manage access control systems, CCTV, perimeter security, and emergency response plans.

● Ensure compliance with international safety and security standards, including those set by ISO, OSHAS, and other regulatory bodies.

● Prepare security reports for internal stakeholders and senior management.


Qualifications & Experience

● Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field (Military or Police background is an added advantage).

● Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management.

● Strong knowledge of physical security, risk assessment, crisis management, and security technologies.

● Familiarity with security conditions and challenges in Somaliland is a plus.

● Experience working in multicultural and remote environments.

● Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

● Proficiency in English; knowledge of Somali or Arabic is an asset.

Location:

This position will be a full time position 5 days/week in our Somaliland office.
