Job Description/Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our team in the irrigation industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling our irrigation advisory products, providing technical expertise and support to customers, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate should have a technical background in irrigation and sales experience, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase revenue.
● Identify potential customers and create a pipeline of sales opportunities.
● Conduct technical demonstrations and presentations for customers, as well as training sessions and webinars.
● Provide technical expertise and support to customers on our irrigation advisory products, including system design, installation, and maintenance.
● Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials and campaigns to promote our products.
● Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
● Monitor and report on sales activities and market trends to inform sales strategies.
● Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to network with potential customers and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
Requirements:
● Diploma in an Agricultural related field.
● Proven sales experience in the irrigation industry.
● Strong technical knowledge of irrigation advisory products and practices, including drip irrigation, sprinkler systems, and water management.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address customer needs.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Strong organizational and time management skills.
● Willingness to travel as required.
