Technical Sales Representative

·       Role and Responsibilities

1. Developing and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
2. Developing an understanding of the company’s products and services through education and presentations.
3. Preparation of designs, proposals, quotations for potential customers and give solutions to their solar energy needs.
4. Organizing for meetings with potential customers with an aim of pitching and demonstration of the company’s solar energy products.
5. Negotiating proposed solutions with potential customers and closing sales.
6. Assisting with installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of solar systems in aftersales services.
7. Maintaining current knowledge of product information, company products, and industry trends
8. Responsible for professional representation of the company.
9. Responsible for the achievement of the products sale target set by the company.
10. Preparing and submitting sales reports for customers met and the progress made in closing the deals.
11. Generating market feedback in regards to the company’s energy products or the competing products.
12. Identify and presenting growth opportunities.
13. Other duties as assigned.

·       Key Requirements (qualifications and skills)

Education: minimum Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy and Environmental Physics or related courses

Experience: at least 3 years in similar role (preferably in the wholesale/retail industry)

Excellent customer-relation skills

Conversant with ERP systems

Decision-making

Communication & reporting skills
