Job Summary
The Human Capital Specialist is a vital member of our leadership team, responsible for developing and managing human resource strategies that align with our Christian values. This role will involve fostering a culture of servant leadership, ensuring staff well-being, and driving organizational effectiveness to support the resort and conference center's mission of excellence in service and hospitality.

Job Description/Requirements
1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract talent that aligns with the center’s Christian mission and values.
- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, onboarding, and orientation.
- Collaborate with the General manager to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
2. Employee Engagement and Retention
- Cultivate a work environment that supports spiritual growth, collaboration, and staff well-being.
- Design and execute employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
- Conduct regular employee satisfaction surveys and recommend improvements based on feedback.
3. Performance Management and Training
- Develop and manage performance evaluation systems grounded in biblical principles of accountability and stewardship.
- Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and leadership development.
- Facilitate workshops and retreats that encourage personal and professional growth in line with the organization's values.
4. Policy Development and Compliance
- Ensure that HR policies comply with local labor laws and reflect the Christian ethos of the organization.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records, contracts, and handbooks.
- Handle conflict resolution with discretion, compassion, and alignment to the organization’s core beliefs.
5. Compensation and Benefits Administration
- Manage payroll, benefits, and other employee compensation programs.
- Review and recommend competitive benefits packages to support staff retention and satisfaction.
6. Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with leadership to align human capital strategies with the organization’s long-term goals.
- Lead initiatives that improve operational efficiency, team dynamics, and organizational culture.
Qualifications
- Faith-Based Alignment: Demonstrated commitment to Christian principles and values.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the hospitality or nonprofit sector.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven leadership and conflict-resolution capabilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems.
