Job Description/Requirements
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles (sales associates, stockers, managers, etc.).
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and offer letters.
- Conduct comprehensive background checks and ensure all new hires meet age and legal requirements for working in a liquor retail environment.
- Design and deliver engaging onboarding programs to ensure new employees are well-integrated and understand company policies, safety procedures, and product knowledge.
- Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and develop relevant programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, including product training, customer service, responsible alcohol sales, and loss prevention.
- Coordinate and track mandatory certifications and training related to alcohol sales and service.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance review processes, including goal setting, feedback mechanisms, and performance improvement plans.
- Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
- Recognize and reward high-performing employees.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Administer payroll in coordination with the finance department.

- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, fostering a positive and respectful work environment.

- HR Compliance & Administration:

- Prepare HR reports and analytics as required.
- Manage HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other HR software.
- Health & Safety:
- Oversee workplace health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
- Address any safety concerns promptly and implement preventative measures.
- Manage workers' compensation claims if applicable.
