Requirements:
- Diploma/degree in industrial engineering, industrial chemistry, analytical chemistry or related field.
- Comprehensive understanding of painting techniques, application processes, equipment, and materials (e.g., paint mixing, surface preparation, defect identification).
- Strong leadership, team building, and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Strong ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple priorities and workloads effectively to meet tight deadlines.

Duties/responsibilities
- Paint production supervisor: Paint production supervisor will oversee daily operations of paint manufacturing by ensuring that production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently to meet quality and output targets.
- He/she will manage the production team, coordinate workflow, and implement process improvements by performing the following responsibilities:- operational management: Plan, supervise, and coordinate the daily activities and work schedules of the paint production team to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Quality control: Monitor the application process and inspect finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications, minimizing rework.
- Safety & compliance: Enforce all company safety protocols and environmental regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (ppe) and hazardous waste disposal procedures.
- Team leadership: Train, coach, and mentor employees, providing guidance, conducting performance reviews, and resolving personnel issues to foster a productive and positive work environment.
- Inventory & materials management: Coordinate raw material inventory, order supplies, and manage the movement of materials to ensure continuous operations and minimize waste.
- Equipment maintenance: Oversee the proper operation and maintenance of all painting equipment, such as spray guns, booths, and curing systems, coordinating with the maintenance department for repairs as needed.
- Process improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., lean manufacturing, six sigma, 5s principles) to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Reporting & documentation: Maintain accurate production records, track key performance indicators (kpis), and prepare reports on production performance, progress, and material usage for management.
- Collaboration: Liaise with other departments, such as quality control, engineering, and sales, to ensure seamless operations and align departmental goals with overall company direction.
