Job Summary
The Stock Controller ensures accurate, efficient, and compliant management of all inventory for Pekay Brothers Ltd. The role supports seamless distribution operations for KBL and UDV products by maintaining precise stock records, coordinating stock movements, reducing losses, and safeguarding company assets.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Accuracy & Monitoring
· Monitor daily stock levels for all KBL and UDV product categories.
· Maintain 100% accuracy between physical stock and the system.
· Track breakages, expiries, spillages, and damages, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
· Investigate and resolve all variances arising from stock counts.
2. Receiving & Dispatch Coordination
· Oversee receiving of trucks from KBL/UDV: verify quantities, check seals, confirm product mix, and reconcile documentation.
· Supervise loading and dispatch to ensure correct products, quantities, and routes.
· Ensure proper application of FIFO / FEFO to avoid expiry losses.
· Confirm all dispatches match approved customer orders.
3. Stock Movement Control
· Manage inter-branch transfers, returns from trade, and internal stock adjustments.
· Track hire-barrels, kegs, and empties (where applicable).
· Maintain accurate records for promotional items and point-of-sale materials (POSMs).
4. Stock Counts & Audit Processes
· Plan and coordinate daily cycle counts, weekly spot checks, and monthly full stock takes.
· Conduct root-cause analysis for variances and recommend corrective actions.
· Prepare and submit stock reconciliation reports to management within set timelines.
5. Reporting & Documentation
· Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports (e.g., stock ageing, shrinkage, stock movement, slow movers).
· Maintain all stock-related documents in an audit-ready format.
· Highlight trends such as shortages, slow-moving SKUs, and overstocks.
6. Compliance, Safety & Controls
· Enforce stock-handling procedures and warehouse SOPs.
· Ensure full compliance with KBL and UDV distribution standards.
· Implement stock security measures to mitigate risks of theft, pilferage, or manipulation.
· Ensure accurate handling of excisable goods and documentation.
7. Team Support & Coordination
· Work closely with Warehouse, Sales, Logistics, and Finance teams to align stock flows with business demand.
· Train warehouse staff on stock-handling standards, documentation, and controls.
· Support internal and external audits with accurate, timely information.
Qualifications & Experience
· Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
· Minimum 2–4 years’ experience as a Stock Controller in FMCG or beverage distribution
· Experience working in a high-volume warehouse (preferably KBL/UDV)
· Strong Excel skills and familiarity with stock reconciliation processes
