Job Summary
Global Capability is hiring a Team Leader to manage and support a team of 180 recruiters serving US-based tech clients. You’ll be responsible for driving team performance, ensuring delivery of high-quality candidates, and collaborating with US recruitment teams to meet client hiring targets. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a growing Kenya team, with long-term career progression into senior leadership roles as the operation expands. It’s ideal for someone with proven US tech recruitment experience in an agency environment, who is motivated, organized, and skilled at coaching and managing a high-performing team.

Job Description/Requirements
Location: Viewpark Towers, Nairobi (Office-Based, Transport Provided After Work)
Working Hours: US Eastern Time (08:30 – 17:30 ET) → Nairobi Time: 16:30 – 01:30 EAT
Salary: KES 100,000 gross per month
Commission Structure: KES 15,000 – 25,000 per placement (optional/role-dependent)
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of recruiters to achieve individual and team KPIs.
• Monitor and manage recruitment pipelines, ensuring high-quality candidate delivery to US clients.
• Collaborate with US recruitment teams to prioritize roles and ensure timely handover of candidates.
• Conduct regular team performance reviews, provide coaching, and implement development plans.
• Track team activity and report on KPIs, metrics, and recruitment outcomes to management.
• Support the recruitment process where needed, including sourcing and candidate interviews.
• Maintain a positive, professional team culture aligned with client and company standards.
Minimum Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of US tech recruitment experience in an agency environment, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• University graduate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and sourcing skills, including LinkedIn, Boolean search, and job boards.
• Experienced in managing high-volume recruitment teams in a fast-paced, target-driven agency environment.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with ATS/CRM systems and tracking team metrics.
• Reliable, professional, and able to collaborate effectively with international teams.
Preferred
• Exposure to US tech markets and recruitment processes.
• Experience managing senior or niche tech roles.
• Confident coaching and communicating with recruiters and senior professionals.
