DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, fresh juices, mocktails, and other refreshments according to established standards.
- Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and service.
- Welcome guests warmly and provide professional, friendly, and attentive service.
- Create and maintain a lively, enjoyable, and comfortable lounge atmosphere for customers.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other beverage preparation equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle customer inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lounge, serving areas, and beverage stations at all times.
- Monitor stock levels of beverages, ingredients, and supplies, and report replenishment needs.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately where required.
- Support lounge events, music sessions, and entertainment activities to enhance guest engagement.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service, Barista Training, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Barista, Lounge Attendant, DJ, or in bar/lounge operations is required.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage service standards.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, outgoing, and able to engage positively with guests.
- Well-groomed, professional appearance, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) system experience is an added advantage.
