- Take drink orders accurately and provide recommendations based on customer preferences
- Engage with customers professionally while maintaining excellent service standards
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and special requests courteously
- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
- Prepare cocktails, beers, wines, spirits, and specialty drinks efficiently and consistently
- Ensure proper presentation, portioning, and quality of all drinks before serving
- Maintain speed and accuracy during peak service hours
- Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines at all times
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout shifts
- Ensure all glassware, tools, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Monitor bar setup before service and ensure readiness for operations
- Maintain hygiene and compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist in receiving, storing, and managing bar stock and supplies
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or wastage
- Assist in conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations
- Ensure proper storage of beverages to maintain quality and prevent loss
- Accurately process customer bills and payments where required
- Assist in reconciling daily sales and bar takings
- Maintain basic records of sales, stock usage, and wastage
- Ensure proper accountability for all bar transactions
- Check all drinks for quality, taste, and presentation before serving
- Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines
- Comply with licensing laws, alcohol regulations, and company policies
- Maintain professionalism and uphold brand standards at all times
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Mixology, or related field
- At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar bar or hospitality role
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage preparation techniques
- Experience in customer service within a bar, hotel, or restaurant environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong mixology and beverage preparation skills
- High level of customer service orientation
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
