JOB SUMMARY

RequirementsAt least 6 months working experience within a bar or beverage service operation with a degree / diploma / certificate in hospitality management OR 2 years working experience in a restaurant or hotel with a non-hospitality management degree / diploma.Proven experience as a bartender in a high-end hotel, upscale bar, or fine dining establishment.Extensive knowledge of mixology, cocktails, and beverage trends.Exceptional guest service and communication skills.Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the business needs.Key Responsibilities1. Cocktail Crafting & Beverage Dispensing:- Create and serve a variety of signature and classic cocktails with precision and flair.- Customize drinks to accommodate guest preferences and dietary restrictions.- Dispense beverages as per the standard operation procedures following the guest’s request.2. Guest Engagement:- Provide attentive and personable service to guests at the bar.- Engage with patrons to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience.3. Product Knowledge:- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the beverage menu, including wines, spirits, and other offerings.- Stay informed about current mixology trends and incorporate them into the bar's offerings.4. Bar Setup and Maintenance:- Set up the bar area before service, ensuring cleanliness and organization.- Regularly check and restock bar supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and liquors.5. Guest Education:- Educate guests on the characteristics of various spirits and wines, providing recommendations when requested.- Offer insights into the creation and history of specific cocktails.6. Upselling and Revenue Generation:- Suggest premium and specialty beverages to enhance the guest experience.- Encourage participation in promotions and upsell high-margin items.7. Compliance and Safety:- Adhere to all alcohol service laws and regulations.- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the bar area, following health and safety guidelines.8. Team Collaboration:- Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure seamless service.- Communicate effectively with colleagues to maintain a smoothworkflow.
