Our client is a leading organization in the agricultural sector, specializing in the export of avocados and passion fruits. They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Company Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration and human resources.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monitoring day-to-day business operations and interacting with relevant external partners.
  • supporting and overseeing teams, problem-solving, developing and implementing the company’s plans, and meeting goals.
  • Handling the development of the HR function of the company to align with our commitment to and passion for our people.
  • Administering employees’ contracts and performance, and supporting respective departments in directing and managing workers.
  • Interrogate for proper interpretation and understanding of all agreements, documents, and contracts to the company from third parties to advance, safeguard the company’s commercial and other lawful interests.
  • Responsible for keeping accurate and up-to-date data and inventories of the assets and the management of the company’s assets.
  • To ensure the company meets requisite statutory and market standard requirements: licenses, permits, and certifications.
  • Oversee the proper implementation and administration of living wages and premiums amongst the company’s workforce.
  • Manage and enhance the business efficiency and effectiveness by the use of appropriate technologies, set SOPs and policies.
  • Ensure proper custody of the company’s data, information, collaterals and see the maintenance of an effective, safe manual and electronic filing system of all records.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with various stakeholders, including customers, employees, investors, and the community.
  • In liaison with the company directors, respond to inquiries and concerns from the public and related organizations.

Skills and academic requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in administration and human resources.
  • Strong people management capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong quantitative aptitude and proficiency in mathematical concepts.
  • Comprehensive business acumen and understanding of industry standards.
  • Demonstrated ethical behavior and integrity in business practices.
  • Relevant experience in administration, business operations management, or human resources.
