Our client a Container shipping and leasing company is seeking a Facilities Lead to join their team and oversee the management and maintenance of our facilities. The Facilities Lead will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and efficient. This role involves managing a team of contractors to meet these objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the facilities, including offices, warehouses, and storage yards. Ensure facilities are clean, safe, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards. Hire, supervise, and manage a team of contractors responsible for facility maintenance, repairs, and improvements. Develop and manage the facilities budget, including cost estimates, forecasting, and expense tracking. Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment. Oversee inventory control for facility supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient procurement and utilization.Qualifications:
Relevant Bachelorâs degree. Minimum 5 yearsâ experience in facilities management, including managing contractors and facility operations. Strong knowledge of facility maintenance best practices, safety regulations, and compliance. Budget management and cost control skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
