Role Overview
Lubarisho LTD is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven F&B Manager to lead and oversee all restaurant and bar operations at Olzadia Boutique Hotel in Zanzibar.

This role requires a hands-on professional who can ensure operational efficiency, maintain high service standards, control costs, and deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue growth within a boutique hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities
1. Restaurant & Bar Operations
• Oversee the full operation of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth daily service
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service delivery
• Ensure alignment with the hotel’s overall guest experience strategy
2. Financial & Cost Management
• Manage food and beverage budgets, forecasting, and financial planning
• Control costs, reduce wastage, and improve operational efficiency
• Monitor daily sales, margins, and profitability
3. Menu Development & Revenue Growth
• Develop and update menus in collaboration with the kitchen team
• Implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability
• Introduce innovative concepts and promotions to enhance guest experience and sales
4. Inventory & Supplier Management
• Manage stock levels, procurement, and supplier relationships
• Ensure proper inventory control systems are in place
• Oversee ordering processes and minimize stock losses
5. Team Leadership & Staff Management
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate F&B staff
• Ensure discipline, professionalism, and high performance within the team
• Prepare staff schedules and oversee daily operations
6. Compliance & Quality Standards
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and operational standards
• Monitor and enforce health and safety procedures
7. Systems & Reporting
• Work with hotel systems and ensure smooth integration with eZee PMS (advantage)
• Prepare reports on performance, costs, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with management on strategic planning and improvements
8. Guest Experience & Service Excellence
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery
• Continuously improve service quality and guest engagement

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Hospitality Management or a related field
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Food & Beverage operations
• Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role
• Experience in opening, relaunching, or restructuring F&B operations is highly preferred

• Strong knowledge of restaurant and bar operations
• Excellent financial management and cost control skills
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approach

Languages
• English (required)
• Additional languages are an added advantage

Additional Requirements
• Strong understanding of local hospitality and regulatory requirements
• Ability to work closely with kitchen and hotel management teams
• Strong focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence
• Must be willing to relocate to Zanzibar, Tanzania
• Must possess a valid passport
