Qualifications:
· Educational Background:
o Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
· Professional Experience:
o Minimum of 3 years of experience in student affairs or related roles within a higher education setting, preferably in a medical or health sciences environment.
o Demonstrated experience in developing and managing student programs and services.
· Skills and Competencies:
o Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and initiatives.
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with a diverse student population.
o Proficiency in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
o Knowledge of student development theories and best practices in student affairs.
o Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working in a medical school or health sciences educational setting.
· Familiarity with accreditation standards relevant to medical education.
· Certification in counseling or student affairs administration
