On behalf of our client, a leading microfinance institution with a wide branch network across the country, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resource Manager to oversee HR operations, drive performance management, and ensure compliance across all branches. The role requires a strong understanding of the microfinance environment, with a focus on workforce productivity, discipline, and alignment to business goals.

ย โข Lead and manage all HR functions across multiple branches.
ย โข Implement and monitor performance management systems and staff productivity.
ย โข Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and staff deployment across the branch network.
ย โข Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
ย โข Ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws and internal HR policies.
ย โข Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and frameworks.
ย โข Oversee payroll inputs, leave management, and staff records.
ย โข Support leadership in organizational development and workforce planning.
ย โข Drive staff engagement, retention, and performance improvement initiatives.
ย โข Provide regular HR reports and insights to management.

ย โข Bachelorโs degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
ย โข Minimum 3 yearsโ HR experience in microfinance or microcredit sector (mandatory).
ย โข Higher Diploma in HRM / CHRP certification (mandatory).
ย โข Registered Member of Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
ย โข Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
ย โข Experience managing HR operations across multiple branches is an added advantage.
