Job summary

The Human Resource (HR) Manager at Galaxy Hospital is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all human resource functions to ensure the hospital attracts, develops, and retains a highly skilled workforce. The role oversees recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, training and development.

Job descriptions & requirements

  • Develop and implement human resource policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, and orientation of new employees.
  • Ensure staffing levels meet operational and clinical requirements.
  • Maintain employee personnel records and ensure confidentiality of HR information.
  • Coordinate employee induction, training, and continuous professional development programs.
  • Develop and implement performance management systems, including annual appraisals and performance improvement plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues.
  • Investigate employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts, recommending appropriate resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with Labor laws, occupational safety regulations, and hospital HR policies.
  • Coordinate employee engagement, wellness, recognition, and retention initiatives.
  • Advise management on organizational development and workforce planning.
  • Monitor staff attendance, leave administration, and compliance with hospital attendance policies.
  • Prepare HR reports, workforce statistics, and management reports.
  • Coordinate succession planning and talent management initiatives.
  • Participate in organizational change management and culture-building programs.
  • Ensure all professional licenses, certifications, and mandatory training records are maintained and up to date.
  • Coordinate HR audits and support external regulatory inspections relating to human resources.
  • Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and ethical employment practices
