Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of human resource management and support the organization's growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and the development of HR policies and procedures.

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage employee records and ensure compliance with Kenyan labor laws and regulations.
  • Oversee performance management, employee engagement, and staff development programs.
  • Handle employee relations matters and resolve workplace issues in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate compensation, benefits administration, and payroll processes.
  • Support departmental managers in workforce planning and organizational development.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including NSSF, SHA, PAYE, and other relevant regulations.
  • Prepare HR reports and provide insights to support management decision-making.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification such as CHRP(K), IHRM, CIPD, or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years' progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in the healthcare, hospital, or medical services sector is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems (HRIS).
