The bank will continue to cover the financial landscape and respond positively to the needs of its customers, shareholders and the economy besides offering traditional financial services and products.JOB PURPOSEReporting to Group Director, Marketing & Communications, as a Data Insights Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing valuable knowledge and insights to support decision-making processes and shape brand and business strategies. You will be responsible for monitoring competitor and market trends, gathering intelligence, and tracking performance metrics. Additionally, you will establish effective management systems, tools, and Management Information Systems (MIS) to assist Brand and Marketing teams across the Group in their roles.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Gather and analyze data from various sources within and outside the business to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to the brand and market landscape while ensuring accessibility to the wider business.Monitor competitor activities, including pricing, marketing campaigns, and product offerings, and provide regular updates to the teams.Conduct market research and identify emerging industry trends, consumer behavior, and potential opportunities for the brand.Develop and maintain performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate brand performance and assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies. This includes product analysis reports, consumer behaviors, trends and insights reports for strategic decision making. Evaluating product performance insights, trends, and strategic actions to enable product development and enhancement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations in order to find the right questions to ask from data with practical insights and analysis to support decision making at all levels of the organization.Create reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management. Role holder must communicate and present technical information with non-technical team members and collaborators – ability to simplify complex outputs into simple and actionable insights is key.Implement an effective knowledge management system and management information systems for capturing and documentation of market and product data insights and intelligence required by Brand Teams to ultimately serve business divisions.Design and implement data collection methods, surveys, and questionnaires to gather consumer feedback and insights.Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data storage, integration, and analysis processes, utilizing appropriate data management technologies.Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and analytical tools to enhance data insights capabilities and drive continuous improvement. RequirementsEducation Bachelor’s Degree Professional Qualifications Business Analysis/Statistics/Data Analytics/ResearchMasters Degree Business Administration/ Project Management or any relevant areaMinimum 5 years experience in Research, data analysis and reporting
