PARALEGAL ASSISTANT
Job summary
The Paralegal Assistant will provide legal and administrative support to lawyers by conducting legal research, preparing and organizing legal documents, managing case files, and assisting with day-to-day office operations. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of a licensed lawyer and help ensure that legal matters are handled efficiently, accurately, and professionally.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Legal Research & Documentation
· Conduct legal research and summarize relevant laws, regulations, case law, and legal precedents.
· Assist in drafting, reviewing, formatting, and organizing legal documents and correspondence.
· Prepare case summaries, legal briefs, notes, and other materials as directed by the supervising lawyer.
Case & File Management
· Maintain accurate and confidential physical and electronic case files and legal records.
· Track case deadlines, court dates, appointments, filings, and other important legal activities.
· Assist with document filing, retrieval, and preparation of materials required for hearings and client matters.
Administrative & Client Support
· Assist lawyers with scheduling, correspondence, client communication, and general office administration.
· Support preparation and submission of legal documents to courts, government offices, and other relevant institutions.
· Handle confidential client information professionally and in accordance with applicable legal and ethical requirements.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
· Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
· Previous experience working as a Paralegal Assistant, Legal Assistant, or in a law office.
· Good knowledge of legal research, document preparation, case-file management, and general legal office procedures.

· Strong research, writing, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain client confidentiality.
· Ability to work independently under supervision, manage deadlines, and handle multiple legal matters efficiently.
