Job Summary

A skilled and creative Pastry Chef/Cook is required to join our dynamic kitchen team. The role involves preparing high-quality pastries, desserts and baked goods, as well as food preparation, cooking and presentation. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in pastry ,strong attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.

Job Description/Requirements


  • Prepare and bake pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards
  • Develop and test new pastry recipes and menu items
  • Decorate and present desserts with attention to detail and visual appeal
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and minimize waste
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to coordinate production schedules
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section and equipment
  • Plan, prepare, and execute high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specification
  • Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation standards
  • Develop new recipes and seasonal menus that reflect creativity and customer preferences


Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma in Culinary Arts, Baking, or Pastry preferred
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or Cook in a professional kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
  • In-depth knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Creativity and attention to detail in presentation and flavor
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
