Production & Quality Control Supervisor

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Production & Quality Control Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our 100% vegan food production facility on Eastern Bypass, Kenya. The successful candidate will supervise the production team and report directly to the Technical Director.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise daily production activities and ensure smooth factory operations.

· Monitor, record, and maintain production and quality records accurately.

· Advise on production planning based on machine availability and production schedules.

· Coordinate effectively with production staff and management to meet operational targets.

· Ensure all quality control checks, hygiene standards, and HACCP protocols are properly followed and documented.

· Maintain discipline, operational efficiency, cleanliness, and food safety standards within the factory environment.

· Carry out basic electrical connections and related maintenance on factory equipment.

· Perform basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance.

· Oversee stores material issuing and ensure proper stock movement and accountability.

· Assist in solving operational and production-related challenges in a logical and efficient manner.

Required Qualifications & Experience

· Diploma or similar certification in Food Safety and/or related field.

· Electrical Grade 3 qualification.

· Minimum 3 years of solid experience in a similar FMCG production and/or Product Quality Control supervisory role.

· Good understanding of quality control systems and HACCP protocols.

· Basic electrical knowledge and ability to handle simple electrical connections.

· Strong logical thinking and excellent attention to detail.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, email communication, and digital production/inventory record keeping.

· Strong academic background in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and English at high school level.

· Ability to work outside normal working hours when required due to operational demands or production emergencies.

· This role would be suitable for energetic candidates with strong hands-on factory experience in an active industrial environment, ideally aged between 25–35 years.

· Residence near Ruai, Ruiru Town, or surrounding areas would be an added advantage.
