JOB TITLE: SUPERMARKET SUPERVISOR
NATURE OF JOB: FULLTIME
INDUSTRY: RETAIL
SALARY: KSHS. 15,000-20,000
JOB LOCATION: RUIRU
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise daily operations of the supermarket, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate restocking, and ensure proper product display and merchandising.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are maintained throughout the store.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Monitor sales performance and assist in achieving set targets.
- Assist in cash handling and end-of-day reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports to management.
- Enforce company policies and ensure team adherence to store procedures.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- KCSE Certificate (Minimum)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication abilities
- Ability to multitask, solve problems, and work under pressure
- Basic knowledge of inventory and sales systems is an added advantage
- Must be reliable, honest, and goal-oriented.
