Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Team Lead to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure smooth service delivery in our betting company. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of the betting/gaming industry, and the ability to motivate a team to achieve performance targets while delivering exceptional customer experience.

Job Description/Requirements

Location: Nairobi, Kenya.
Reports To: Operations Manager / Country Manager.
Industry: Sports Betting & Gaming.
Salary: KES 60,000 – 80,000.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise, mentor, and support a team of betting agents to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, gaming regulations, and responsible betting practices.
• Monitor daily transactions, cash handling, and reporting for accuracy and accountability.
• Drive team performance by setting clear targets and implementing performance improvement plans.
• Handle escalated customer issues and provide timely solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Train and onboard new team members to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Prepare and share daily/weekly performance and operational reports with management.
• Collaborate with management to execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and customer engagement activities.
• Recommend improvements in processes, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure workplace discipline, punctuality, and a positive team culture.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or team leadership role, preferably in betting or gaming.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Proven ability to meet performance targets and drive results.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Understanding of betting operations, odds, and gaming products (sportsbook, virtuals, casino, etc.).
• Integrity, accountability, and the ability to handle cash and sensitive information responsibly.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and under pressure.
