Our client, a renowned Italian restaurant located on a beautiful touristic island in Greece, is seeking two (2) experienced Cooks with strong expertise in Italian cuisine for the upcoming tourist season. The restaurant operates in a modern, well‑organised professional kitchen catering to high‑end international guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic Italian recipes, including pasta dishes, sauces, meat, seafood, and signature specialties.
• Maintain excellent food presentation and consistency.
• Work efficiently within a modern, fast‑paced professional kitchen.
• Ensure strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with the restaurant’s culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
• Assist in menu execution during high‑volume service periods.

Job Requirements

• Men or women aged 23–40 years.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a cook/chef.
• Proven experience and knowledge of Italian cuisine.
• Ability to provide video proof demonstrating cooking techniques and Italian recipes.
• Strong hygiene standards and kitchen cleanliness culture.
• Valid passport and clean criminal record.

Benefits

• 1,300 € net per month (approx. 197,000 KES)
  • Work schedule: 6 days per week, 10 hours per day
  • Seasonal contract lasting approx. 6 months, from late April to early October
• Free accommodation near the restaurant
• Two free meals daily, provided by the employer
• Free public health insurance under the Greek state system
• Employment includes:
  • Seasonal job contract
  • Residence Permit allowing seasonal work in Greece’s tourism sector
  • Eligibility to work up to 9 months per year for up to 5 consecutive years
