Job Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced General Manager to oversee all operations of our ice cream manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production, ensuring product quality, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving business growth while upholding our brand’s commitment to excellence and innovation.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities


Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily factory operations, from production to packaging and distribution.
  • Implement efficient processes to optimize production capacity and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and quality standards (HACCP, ISO, KEBS).


Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, train, and motivate departmental heads (production, quality assurance, logistics, sales, and HR).
  • Foster a positive, performance-driven work culture.
  • Oversee workforce planning, performance reviews, and employee development.


Strategic Planning & Growth:

  • Develop and execute business strategies to increase market share and profitability.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Drive product innovation and oversee new product development initiatives.


Financial & Resource Management:

  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure targets are achieved.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of resources and cost control.


Sales & Distribution Coordination:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve distribution networks and brand presence.
  • Establish strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and suppliers.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5–8 years of managerial experience in food or beverage manufacturing (ice cream or dairy industry is a plus).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • In-depth understanding of production operations, quality control, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
