INTERIOR ARCHITECT
Job summary
The Interior Architect will lead the design and delivery of high-end interior spaces from concept development through construction and FF&E installation. The role will oversee space planning, materials and finishes, technical documentation, design coordination, procurement, and site implementation while ensuring the final interiors meet client expectations and project standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive interior design and project management experience.
- Strong experience in large-scale, high-end mixed-use, hospitality, or commercial developments.
- Proven experience in conceptual space planning, material selection, and detailed interior construction documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Demonstrated experience managing design phases from concept development through FF&E specification and procurement.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, international design standards, and sustainable interior practices such as LEED and EDGE.
- Proven experience in client presentations, material selection, finish coordination, and design development.
- Active registration with a recognized professional body or equivalent international organization is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, leadership, visualization, and project-management skills.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, interior budget management, and furniture procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the interior design process from concept development through FF&E installation.
- Ensure interior designs meet client requirements, budgets, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Coordinate interior design information with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Develop and present creative design proposals, material selections, and mood boards.
- Define interior technical specifications and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Review and approve construction documents, shop drawings, material samples, and FF&E specifications.
- Support project managers with interior budget tracking and cost estimation.
- Monitor interior construction and fit-out progress to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Ensure interior documentation complies with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate furniture, fixtures, finishes, and supplier activities.
- Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and suppliers.
- Mentor and guide junior interior designers and coordinate with other design disciplines.
