Job Summary
Lipton Investment LTD requires a strict, detail-focused Procurement Officer to manage the centralized supply chain for all project raw materials, tools, and heavy machinery. The successful candidate will streamline the sourcing pipeline to reduce lead times, negotiate bulk pricing milestones, maintain optimal corporate inventory logs, and aggressively eliminate kickback risks or inflated supplier invoicing.

Key Responsibilities
1. Centralized Sourcing: Manage the end-to-end purchase pipeline for building materials (cement, steel, timber, aggregates) and specialized machinery across all active construction sites.
2. Vendor & Contract Management: Source, vet, and manage a reliable database of verified, high-quality local and international suppliers; negotiate favorable credit facilities and payment terms.
3. Price Optimization: Conduct ongoing construction market price intelligence to ensure Lipton Investment LTD consistently procures resources at the most competitive industry rates.
4. Logistics & Inventory Control: Coordinate multi-site material deliveries to eliminate site down-time, while establishing strict check-in/check-out auditing protocols to prevent material theft.
5. Compliance Checks: Review delivery notes, local purchase orders (LPOs), and supplier invoices against actual inventory delivered to ensure complete compliance before finance approval.

Key Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• Active registration with a recognized professional body (e.g., KISPM or CIPS).
• 3+ years of experience navigating the construction supply chain ecosystem in Kenya.
