JOB SUMMARY
Requirements• An advanced university degree (master's or equivalent) in social, environmental, political sciences or a related field is required. A first-level university degree, combined with two (2) additional years of qualifying experience, may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree. EXPERIENCE • A minimum of ten years of relevant work experience in programme management, donor relations, and strategic engagement in the context of international development, environmental issues, and climate change is required. • Extensive track record in developing and implementing resource mobilisation strategies, conducting donor intelligence, and maintaining long-term relationships with governments, multilateral/bilateral agencies, and other partners, is desirable. • Proven experience in high-level coordination within inter-agency partnerships, including strategy development, work planning, and governance processes for complex multi-stakeholder programmes, is desirable. • Significant experience in preparing high-quality reports, briefings, concept notes, and presentations for senior leadership and donors, including contributions to UN reports and global event materials, is desirable. • Experience working on climate and forests with international organisations and programmes, including the UN system and UN-REDD, is desirable.
