Safety Executive

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Identify workplace hazards, assess risks and recommend control measures.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses and follow up on corrective actions.
• Deliver safety inductions, trainings, and toolbox talks to employees and contractors.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with HSE regulations, standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Promote a positive safety culture and encourage employee participation in HSE initiatives.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure safe execution of construction activities.
• Ensure proper waste management and environmental protection on site.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.

Professional certification of NEBOSH.

Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management, with a focus on industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments.

Strong understanding of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices, including OSHA, EPA, and ISO requirements.

Excellent knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk management principles and methodologies.

3–5 years’ experience in building and construction.

Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in MS Office and HSE management systems/software.
