Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily security operations within assigned areas.

• Manage the deployment, discipline, welfare, and performance of security personnel.

• Ensure all staffing gaps, absenteeism, and deployment requirements are addressed promptly.

• Conduct regular site visits, inspections, patrols, and spot checks.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure service excellence.

• Monitor compliance with company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and client requirements.

• Coordinate the onboarding and orientation of newly assigned security guards.

• Ensure all guards are properly equipped and adhere to company standards.

• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents, emergencies, and operational challenges.

• Coordinate on-the-job training and refresher training for security personnel.

• Maintain accurate attendance records and operational documentation.

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

• Ensure full assignment coverage and operational efficiency within the assigned zone.

• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• KCSE Certificate or equivalent qualification.

• Diploma in Business Studies, Security Management, Criminology, or a related field.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.

• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.

• Must be willing to work within Nairobi and its surrounding areas.

Mandatory Requirements

• MUST have a minimum of three (3) years' experience working as a Security Supervisor in a reputable security company.

• MUST possess a valid Motorcycle Riding Licence with both Category A1 and A2 endorsements.

• MUST have at least three (3) years of active motorcycle riding experience

Experience & Skills

Proven experience in the deployment and supervision of security personnel.
Strong leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of CCTV systems, alarm systems, guarding operations, access control, and incident reporting.
Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
Strong organizational, planning, and report-writing skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is an added advantage.
