JOB SUMMARY
Qualification and experienceA minimum of a relevant PhD and a Master's degree in Nursing (Medical-Surgical, Paediatrics, Critical Care or Psychiatry) from an accredited university;A Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited university;Be registrable with the Nursing Council of Kenya.Additional Qualifications Requirements:Must be currently serving at the level of a Senior Lecturer in an accredited University;Must have a minimum of three (3) years teaching/ research experience at the university level;Must have evidence of publications, attendance and contribution at academic conferences and having attracted research funds; Supervised at least two (2) postgraduate students to completion; Demonstrable leadership, administrative experience and abilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Offer academic and administrative leadership; Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels; Contribute to curriculum internationalisation; Mentor junior academic and research staff; Supervise research and mentor diverse student cohorts; Engage in impactful research, publications, and grant applications; Support global partnerships and cross-cultural initiatives; Bring fresh, global perspectives to the classroom and the University at large; Community service and outreach.
