SENIOR STORE / INVENTORY MANAGER
Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly competent **Senior Store/Inventory Manager** to lead and oversee the company’s entire stores, warehouse and inventory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal stock control, accurate inventory records, efficient material flow, cost management and operational excellence.

**Reports To:** General Manager / Operations Director
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead and manage the overall stores and warehouse operations.
* Develop and implement robust inventory management and stock-control systems.
* Oversee receiving, inspection, storage, issuing and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely stock reconciliations.
* Conduct regular physical stock counts and investigate and resolve variances.
* Monitor stock levels, reorder points, slow-moving, damaged and obsolete stock.
* Ensure proper documentation and system recording of all stock movements.
* Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Production, Sales and Operations departments.
* Optimise warehouse space, stock utilisation and inventory turnover.
* Minimise stock losses, wastage, pilferage and unnecessary holding costs.
* Lead, supervise, train and develop the stores and warehouse team.
* Prepare and present accurate inventory and management reports.
* Ensure effective use and integrity of ERP/Inventory Management Systems.
* Establish departmental KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements and applicable quality standards.
* Coordinate internal and external stock audits and ensure prompt resolution of audit findings.
* Provide management with accurate and timely information for procurement and operational decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor’s Degree in **Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration** or a related field.
* Professional qualification in **CIPS, KISM or related supply-chain discipline** is an added advantage.
* **8–15+ years of progressive experience** in stores, inventory, warehouse or supply-chain management.
* Demonstrated experience managing a large and complex inventory operation.
* Proven experience in team leadership and people management.
* Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock reconciliation and warehouse best practices.
* Extensive experience using **ERP/Warehouse Management Systems**.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
* Experience in **manufacturing, FMCG, printing & packaging or other high-volume environments** is highly desirable.

REMUNERATION
