About the Company

NEWMATIC COUNTERTOP LIMITED is a professional countertop company specializing in sintered stone countertops, kitchen worktops, kitchen islands, vanity tops, dining tables, and customized stone projects.

We are building a standardized measurement, production, and installation system in Kenya. We are looking for a responsible and experienced Site Surveyor to join our team.

Position Summary

The Site Surveyor is responsible for visiting customer sites, checking site conditions, taking accurate measurements, confirming sink and hob positions, identifying installation risks, and supporting the quotation and production process.

The Surveyor is not only a person who measures dimensions. The Surveyor is also responsible for site accuracy, technical judgment, slab calculation support, and quotation support.

Main Responsibilities

1. Visit customer sites for kitchen countertop, island, vanity top, and stone project measurement.
2. Measure all dimensions accurately and record site conditions clearly.
3. Confirm sink position, hob position, cut-out positions, backsplash, wall cladding, and special requirements.
4. Take clear site photos and videos when required.
5. Prepare simple measurement sketches.
6. Check whether the site is ready for measurement or installation.
7. Identify site risks such as unfinished cabinets, uneven walls, wrong levels, access problems, or missing sink/hob details.
8. Estimate slab quantity and assist with basic cutting layout.
9. Support the Sales/Admin team with quotation information.
10. Report all site risks, customer changes, and special requirements immediately.
11. Upload measurement documents, photos, sketches, and notes on time.
12. Follow company dispatch, reporting, and communication procedures.

Requirements

1. Experience in countertop measurement, kitchen measurement, cabinet measurement, stone works, interior finishing, or construction site measurement.
2. Ability to read and take measurements accurately in millimeters.
3. Ability to prepare simple sketches.
4. Basic understanding of kitchen countertops, islands, sinks, hobs, cut-outs, and installation requirements.
5. Ability to support slab calculation and quotation preparation.
6. Must be punctual, honest, careful, and responsible.
7. Must communicate clearly in English.
8. Must respond and report work progress on time.
9. Must be able to use WhatsApp for work communication and photo/video reporting.
10. Driving license is an advantage.

Preferred Candidates

We prefer candidates who:

• Have experience in kitchen countertop or stone project measurement
• Understand quartz, granite, marble, or sintered stone
• Can judge whether a site is ready for measurement
• Can estimate slab usage and assist quotation
• Can identify installation risks before production
• Have experience working with contractors, cabinet makers, or interior designers
• Have a driving license
• Can work independently and report clearly

Salary will depend on experience, skill level, trial performance, and company evaluation.
