About the Company

NEWMATIC COUNTERTOP LIMITED is a professional countertop company specializing in sintered stone countertops, kitchen worktops, kitchen islands, vanity tops, dining tables, and customized stone projects.

We are building a standardized countertop factory system in Kenya and are looking for skilled Stone Cutting Machine Operators and motivated Apprentices to join our production team.

Position Summary

The Stone Cutting Machine Operator is responsible for cutting stone materials according to production orders, drawings, and measurements.

The Apprentice will support machine operators, learn production procedures, assist with material handling, and grow into a qualified machine operator through training.

Main Responsibilities

1. Cut sintered stone, quartz, granite, marble, or similar materials according to production orders.
2. Check material type, slab number, size, and cutting requirements before cutting.
3. Read and follow measurements, cutting instructions, and production drawings.
4. Assist with slab positioning, loading, unloading, and material protection.
5. Check cutting accuracy after work is completed.
6. Report any dimension issue, drawing issue, material defect, machine problem, or production risk immediately.
7. Keep the machine area clean and safe.
8. Follow all factory safety rules and company production procedures.
9. Do not cut any material without an approved production order.
10. Support the factory team to complete production on time.

Requirements for Experienced Operators

1. Previous experience in stone cutting, countertop production, quartz, granite, marble, or sintered stone.
2. Ability to read basic measurements in millimeters.
3. Ability to operate stone cutting machines safely.
4. Experience with bridge saw, waterjet, stone cutting machine, or similar equipment is an advantage.
5. Must be careful with dimensions and material handling.
6. Must report problems immediately.
7. Must be punctual, honest, and responsible.

Requirements for Apprentices

1. Willing to learn stone cutting and machine operation.
2. Must be hardworking, punctual, and honest.
3. Must follow instructions and safety rules.
4. Basic understanding of measurements is an advantage.
5. Must be willing to start from assistant work, material handling, cleaning, and learning.
6. Must be willing to grow with the company.

Strict Company Rules

1. No production without approved production order.
2. No hiding mistakes or material damage.
3. No private jobs.
4. No private customer work.
5. No unsafe machine operation.
6. Every issue must be reported immediately.
7. Every task must have feedback and result.

Preferred Candidates

We prefer candidates who:

• Have stone factory experience
• Have countertop production experience
• Can use cutting machines
• Can read dimensions
• Have good discipline and safety awareness
• Are willing to work long-term
• Can accept training and performance evaluation

Compensation

Salary will depend on experience, skill level, trial performance, and company evaluation.
